Bihar businessman Gopak Khemka shot dead in Patna

New Delhi, July 5
A prominent businessman Gopal Khemka was shot dead by an unidentified bike-borne assailant in Patna, Bihar.
The accused opened fire on Khemka owner of Magadh Hospital as he stepped out of his car near an apartment close to his residence in the posh Gandhi Maidan area.
The CCTV footage captured at the main entrance at 11:39 PM on July 4 showed a man in a blue shirt waiting outside and waited for Khemka's car to stop outside the main gate. The assailant ran toward its and opens fire at Gopal Khemka, who is seated in the driver's seat. He then fled from the scene on his bike.
In 2018, his son, Gopal, 38, was also killed in broad daylight when an unidentified bike-borne assailant opened fire as he was going to step out of his car in front of his cotton factory in Vaishali, on the outskirts of Patna.
The Bihar police have begun an investigation in the case while the family alleged apathy and delay in police response.
