Bihar Police arrests murderer of VIP chief Mukesh Sahani's father in Darbhanga

The accused has been identified as Md Quazim Ansari who was reportedly under a debt of Rs 1.5 lakh, which he had borrowed from Jitan Sahani

New Delhi, July 16

The Bihar Police have arrested a man accused of Jitan Sahani, father of Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahani.  

The accused has been identified as Md Quazim Ansari who was reportedly under a debt of Rs 1.5 lakh, which he had borrowed from Jitan Sahani. 

SSP Darbhanga J Reddy told media, The accused had taken cash loan of Rs 1 lakh from the victim in 2022. He took another Rs 50,000 last year. He had to give property documents on mortgage, which later developed into a bone of contention between the two. Ansari became jobless after his clothing business was shut down due to losses and hatched the murder plot as he felt unbearable paying four per cent of interest on the loan amount. Ansari and Jitan Sahani had a bitter quarrel over the issue a few days back". 

The police probe shows that the accused and his accomplices first did a recee, then barged into Jitan Sahani's home when there was a power cut. The accused along with his accomplices demanded keys to the red box containing mortgage documents. They tried to take away the red box containing property documents after brutally murdering him.
