BSF chief of Tamil Nadu hacked to death in Chennai

At least eight people have been detained by the Tamil Nadu Police in connection with the matter

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tamil Nadu president Armstrong was allegedly hacked to death by six unidentified people near his residence in Perambur area of Chennai sending shock waves in the city. 

At least eight people have been detained by the Tamil Nadu Police in connection with the matter.

An unidentified group of bike-borne men attacked Armstrong with knives, leaving him fatally injured on the road. 

It has come to the fore that Armstrong was overseeing the construction of a new residence. The attack occurred when he visited the construction site around 7 pm, encountering a group of six unknown individuals on bikes, including four who were disguised as food delivery drivers.

The police said that the motive behind the murder is unclear at the moment. The CCTV footage showing the murder accused fleeing the spot after killing Armstrong has surfaced. 

The group of assailants on motorbikes launched a vicious attack on Armstrong using knives, resulting in fatal injuries. 

He was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body was subsequently transferred to Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
