CBI arrests ASI of Delhi Police in a bribery case
ASI of Dwarka sector 23 police station had demanded bribe of Rs.50,000 from the complainant for releasing his impounded vehicle.
New Delhi, July 30
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Delhi Police in a birbery case.
The accused ASI is posted at Dwarka Sector-23 police station who allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs. 40,000/- from the complainant.
The CBI registered a case on a complaint against ASI on allegations that accused demanded bribe of Rs.50,000 from the complainant for releasing his impounded vehicle.
The agency then laid a trap and caught the accused ASI red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 40,000 from the complainant.
