CISF constabe shoots herself dead at Delhi IGI airport
She had used her service pistol to shoot herself; no suicide note was recovered from the spot : Police
New Delhi, March 8
A CISF head constable posted at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport shot herself dead inside a washroom at the airport on while she was on duty.
The deceased was identified as Kiran (37).
The police stated that a call was received about the incident around 8.45 pm. Upon reaching the spot, the police team found her lying in the washroom at Terminal 3.
The police informed that no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
Additional CP (IGI) Usha Rangnani told media that she had used her service pistol to shoot herself. A forensics team visited the spot and lifted exhibits.
The body has been shifted to Safdarjung Hospital for postmortem examination.
