Delhi Police arrest four including three juveniles in arson at Mayur Vihar of Delhi

New Delhi, April 9
The Delhi Police arrested a 20-year-old and three juveniles in connection with a case of gunfire and vehicle arson in Mayur Vihar.
The accused was identified as Ankit (20) and three juveniles.
The police stated that the incident occurred on April 5. The police were alerted through PCR call that gunshots and a vehicle being set on fire.
The police informed that when they reached Upon they found a car extensively damaged by fire. Six empty cartridges, stones, a petrol-filled bottle, and a matchbox.
The police said thag one of the witnesses, Mohammad Zaid, said seven to eight men arrived on three two-wheelers. Three of them threw stones at the parked vehicle before setting it on fire. When Zaid tried to intervene, the assailants fired two shots at him and additional rounds into the air.
Before fleeing, the men left a printed note inside the vehicle, featuring a photograph of a man and a message written in Hindi. The note appeared to be a threat directed at a person named Sanjay Toss, police added.
The probe showed that one Manoj Ohja orchestrated the incident by hiring juveniles and Aniket to execute the arson and shooting.
The police reviewed footage from CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras and analysed call detail records tracking the accused.
