Delhi Police arrests three persons in Dwarka for forging and selling a dead man's property

A property dealer along with a family usurped the property on forged documents and sold the house for Rs. 1.85 cr

New Delhi, December 20

The Delhi Police arrested three people, including a 70-year-old woman and her son, for allegedly illegally selling a property of a dead man in Dwarka’s Sector 6 on forged documents. 

The police had received complaint from a man that  his deceased brother-in-law's house in Dwarka had been fraudulently transferred and sold for Rs. 1.85 crore to a buyer, Sunny Yadav. 

The complainant claimed that the documents were forged after the death of his brother-in-law in 2023. He further said that his sister died in 2019 and the couple had no children. 

After investigation, the police had arrested Sarabjeet Singh and Pawandeep Singh  During interrogation, the police learnt that Pawandeep, a property dealer, had masterminded the plot. He was traced to Himachal Pradesh. 

The police porbe showed that he and his associates, forged the documents in the name of Sarabjeet’s mother, Rajender Kaur, to facilitate the sale.
