New Delhi, November 23

The Gurugram Police have arrested a man who allegedly pointed a gun on a 12-year-old boy at a park in a residential society over a trivial issue with his son.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage and surfaced on social media. In the video, the man can be seen walking to the park as his wife follows him. She is seen restraining him and pushing him out of the child’s way.

The police stated that the incident took place in DLF Phase 3 when the child of the accused and the victim had a scuffle at the society’s park. The accused left his house with the pistol and entered the park before pointing it at the boy after coming to know of the fight. His wife, who saw him leave with the pistol, ran behind him.

The police said the man was arrested after the boy’s father lodged a complaint. The police stated that the gun was licensed but they have begun the process to revoke the same.
