Kisan Mahapanchyat- Haryana Police on stand to with 40 companies of security force

The Haryana Police have deployed heavy security as the farmers plan to aggregate and gherao the mini secretariat. The police also spotted armes group of men who were trying to enter the venue to disturb law and order.
40 companies of reserved police force have been deployed to maintain law and order.
The farmers have aggregated at the Haryana grain market in Karnal, from where they will head to gherao the mini secretariat. They have announced breaking through the barricades wherever those have been installed.
The Karnal police said that taking advantage of the farmers gathering, some mischievous elements armed with sticks and iron rods had reached the Anajsome Mandi to create ruckus. However, those elements were identified and warded off before they could distribution law and orderr.
The farmers want the Haryana government to take action against those police officers who were involved in lathi charge that injured several people. They also demanded the suspension of the officers who directed the police to hit back at farmers who crossed the barricades.
Based on the instructions of the government, the internet and SMS services have been suspended in Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, and Panipat to curb the "spread of inflammatory material and rumours" on September 7.
SP Karnal Ganga Ram Punia stated that the police held meetings with farm leaders ahead of the Mahapanchyat to ensure the gathering is peaceful.
Punia added, "We want Kisan Mahapanchayat to be conducted peacefully and conflict to be resolved through mutual conversation. Police will take action if law and order situation is disturbed".
The Karnal police and other security forces are on a stand to duty till the Mahapanchyat gathering is on.
