NCP MLA's nephew killsa rider in Pune with his speeding Fortuner, held

The Maharashtra police have arrested the nephew of a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA after his speeding car hit a bike and killed a rider in Pune.
The police arrested accused Mayur Mohite who is nephew of NCP MLA Dilip Mohite Patiil.
The police stated that the incident took place on the Pune-Nashik national highway when the SUV speeding on the wrong side of a road hit the motorbike of Om Bhalerao.
Bhalerao sustained grievous injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The accused was driving a Fortuner car on Pune-Nashik road. He was driving the car on the wrong side of the road while travelling to Manchar village when the vehicle had a head-on collision with the motorbike, police added.
Both the vehicles were badly damaged in the incident.
