BSF apprehends four Bangladeshis at Indo Bangladesh border in Cooch Behar

The Border Guards of Border Security Force arrested Bangladeshi couple and three transgenders at the Indo Bangladesh border.
The officials stated that on 21 March 2025, acting on a secret information in the early morning, the BSF personnel of 6th Battalion BSF under Jalpaiguri Sector in North Bengal Frontier deployed on the Indo-Bangladesh border in Cooch Behar District of West Bengal arrested 05 Bangladeshi nationals when they were trying to cross the border illegally from India to Bangladesh.
The arrested persons include three transgenders and one Bangladeshi couple. All the arrested Bangladeshi nationals told during interrogation that they were illegally earning their livelihood in Delhi and Haryana for a long time. After necessary action, the arrested Bangladeshi nationals were handed over to Border Guard Bangladesh, officials further added.
