BSF seized 157 bottles of Phensydyl, cattle from Indo Bangladesh border

New Delhi, June 7
The Border Security Force (BSF) seized 157 bottles of Phensydyl from border village Devipur of Uttar Dinajpur district and BSF Jalpaiguri sector seized nine cattles from border village Barun of Jalpaiguri district worth Rs.1.30 lakhs
In another case, on 1st June 2025 at about 1445 hrs, alert troops of BSF Kishanganj Sector under North Bengal Frontier seized Tapentadol tablets worth Rs 4.95 lakhs from border Panchi of Uttar Dinajpur.
Smugglers from Bangladesh with the help from Indian smugglers were trying to smuggle above contraband and cattles from India to Bangladesh in the border area of Uttar Dinajpur & Jalpaiguri district.
BSF is committed to stop smuggling and border crimes on the India-Bangladesh International border.
