BSF seizes heroin and drones from Indo Pakistan border in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered two drones, carrying suspected heroin from two different locations in the border area of district Amritsar.
The officials said thag on the information of a local villager one packet of suspected heroin (508 grams was recovered by the BSF troops at about from village- Daoke in district Amritsar. The narcotics packet was wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and two illuminating sticks along with a metal ring were attached to the packet.
Similarly, another packet (600 grams) of suspected heroin was recovered by the BSF troops from a farming field adjacent to the village- Roranwala khurd of district Amritsar. The narcotics were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and an illuminating light with copper wire ring was also attached to the packet.
The troops then recovered one assembled drone alongwith one packet (505 Grams) from a farming field ahead of Border Security Fence, adjacent to village- Uttar Dhariwal, Distt- Amritsar. Recovered packet was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape alongwith a metal ring.
On the information of a local villager, another (DJI Mavic 3 Classic) drone was recovered by BSF troops from a farming field of the villager adjacent to village- Ratankhurd in Amritsar, officials added.
