Delhi Crime Branch arrested member of Shakti Naidu interstate gang

Delhi Crime Branch arrested member of Shakti Naidu interstate gang of Shakti Naidu.

The accused was identified as Satish Tripathi from Karanpur, Civil Lines, Pratapgarh, U.P. He was wanted in four cases, robbery, attempt to murder and dacoity of Delhi and Rajasthan

According to the crime branch, the police teams were alert on the whereabouts of activities of Tripathi, as he is a part of a notorious gang which is already under the radar of Delhi police. He had already been declared as PO (Proclaimed Offender) in a number of cases (Delhi & Rajasthan). A crime branch team study the pattern of lifestyle of the accused and went to Pratapgarh from where he was apprehended.

The officials said that in in 2012 Satish came to Delhi as he took Admission in MBA Course in IIPM Chhattarpur, Delhi. For accommodation, he rented a room in the house of one Tilak Lohia and came in his contact and developed friendly relations with Tilak Lohia. Satish Tripathi came in contact with gangster Shakti Naidu (later killed in the encounter) through Tilak Lohia. Thereafter, in the month of January 2014, Satish Tripathi along with gangster Shakti Naidu and his associates namely Machender, Tilak Lohia , Ajay, Guljar @ Bhola, Jony committed a day light robbery in the area of Police Station Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. 

During the investigation, all accused were arrested and sent to judicial custody. Satish Tripathi got bailed out by court but never returned to face trial and absconded and accordingly was declared proclaimed offender. 

The officials added that in 2019, Satish Tripathi along with his associates Honey Singh, Shankar Gujjar, Tilak Lohia robbed car on gun point in area of Police Station Kardhani Jaipur and also injured the complainant by gunshot and on the same day the said gang of criminals also committed an attempt to murder cum robbery by injuring the complainant the in area of Police Station Vishwakarma Colony Jaipur Rajasthan. 

In 2019, Satish Tripathi along with his associates trespassed, forcefully took possession of disputed land in the area of Fatehpur Beri, Delhi and used firearm in the crime.

The crime branch elaborated that Tripathi's father worked as LIC Agent after that his father started contractor work in U.P. His father died in 2009 due to kidney failure. Tripathi did his BBA from Kamla Nehru Institute (KNI), Sultanpur, U.P. In the month of November, 2012 he shifted to Delhi and took admission in MBA at IIPM, Chtatarpur, Delhi. He was wanted in several cases of Rajasthan. 

The crime branch has alerted police stations in Delhi and Rajasthan where Tripathi was wanted.
