DELHI POLICE ARREST KISAN ANDOLAN ACCUSED FROM JAMMU

New Delhi, February 23

The Delhi Crime Branch has apprehended two key accused from Jammu in Red Fort riot case of January 2021. 

The Delhi Crime Branch and Jammu & Kashmir Police carried out a joint operation to apprehended the duo.

The crime branch has identified the accused as Mohinder Singh (45) of Satbari in Jammu and Mandeep Singh (23) of Gole Gujral in Jammu. Mohinder is the president of Kashmir United Front organisation and allegedly key conspirator in the riot case, the officials said. 

As per the information received, both the above accused persons are active participants and key conspirators in the riot case of Red Fort.

The accused were wanted in the case registered at Kotwali police station in Delhi under Section 147, 148,149,152,269,279,186,332,353,307,308,395,397,427,188, 34 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code for rioting, attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy, criminal force on public servant among others. 


The crime branch is further investigating the matter.
