Delhi Police Shahdara District arrested a youth who befriended South Asian girls with an app, shot nude photos

The cyber cell of Delhi Police Shahdara District held a youth who through "Talk Life" app lured young girls in South Asian countries in the pretext of befriending them and allured them to send obscene photos and videos.
The accused was identified as Jatin Bhardwaj from Dilshad Garden in Delhi.
A foreign national filed a complaint with the cyber cell that she met a person on “ Talk Life app” who are suffering from anxiety, depression and stress. Later on she started chatting on whatsapp with said person who afterwards claimed he is the resident of Delhi. She further told the accused initially offered to give her money on the condition of giving him an obscene photo/video of her as she was experiencing a bad economy and was desperately in need of money to support her family. She further shared her photographs and videos with accused but she was not provided any financial aid in return as promised.
Thereafter, the said person demanded for more photos and videos and threatened the complainant that if she won’t share her photos and videos again than he will share/upload the previous photos and videos with all her followers on “Instagram”.
The cyber cell collected all the relevant information related to crime and analyzed the details of the alleged mobile number which was found switched off. After analyzing the call details and ownership of said mobile number, the team finally succeeded in apprehending
During the interrogation it revealed that accused Jatin use an application on mobile called “ Talk Life . As per the complainant, this app is meant for mentally ill, anxious, depress & persons under stress through which one can contact with girls from South Asian countries.
Jatin further revealed that seeing the economic conditions of citizens from South Asian countries and the victims on this app are under stress and depression, he targeted this victim and started to chat with her on the said application and later on he started WhatsApp chat and allured her to give 200-300 US dollars as financial aid on monthly bases if she provide him her obscene photos and videos.
During interrogation accused Jatin also disclosed that he used to chat with more than 15 girls of South Asian countries and succeeded to get their obscene photos/videos of three victims girls.
During interrogation, it was also revealed that accused Jatin *separated himself from the outside world. He made his mobile as his own world. He rarely came out from his room once in a month or two. Father of the accused stated that his son has not talked to him since last six years and her mother provides him only food in his room only. He also stated that he takes bath only once in a year i.e on his birthday.
The investigation is still on and other involvements are being verified.
