New Delhi, February 23
The New Delhi District Police organized a free health check up camp for citizens specially for eyes and ears. Over 800 eye tests and over 200 ear tests were conducted.
DCP New Delhi District Eish Singhal states that the health check up was conducted in association with Tara Foundation, Uttam Nagar, and Akhil BharityaAggarwal Association.
The officials said the citizens were given medicines and near vision glasses were also distributed free of cost to those who needed.
According to police, a team of Ophthalmologists and Otologist examined the patients in the camp. Many police officials also got their check up done alongwith senior IPS officers to motivate the citizens to take up the tests.
875 eyes test and 200 ear tests were conducted. 770 medicines for eyes were also distributed free of cost. 18 persons were identified for the cataract surgery and it will be done by Tara Foundation without any charge.
