Ghaziabad Police books Yati Narsinghanand for an alleged hate speech
The police have taken cognisance of a video of the alleged hate speech that has since gone viral
New Delhi, October 4
The Ghaziabad Police booked Yati Narsinghanand for an alleged hate speech delivered at Hindi Bhawan in in Lohia Nagar.
The speech was given allegedly at an event organised by Major Asharam Vyag Seva Sansthan at the Dasna temple where he is the head priest.
The police have taken cognisance of a video of the alleged hate speech that has since gone viral.
Sub-inspector Trivendra Singh Singh filed a complaint after which Narsinghanand was booked under section 302 (hurting someone’s religious feelings) of BNS.
Narsinghanand, who has several cases against him, was held in a hate speech case in 2022.
