Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Arora took a meeting of women police personnel and gave instructions to make this app popular among women.
The Gurugram Police organized a special program with the aim of ensuring the safety of women/children and making them aware about crimes by giving detailed information about Dial 112 and Dial 112 INDIA app.
The officials said that awareness is created and women/girls are encouraged to install DIAL 112 INDIA app in their mobile phones. The police teams which go among the people and give detailed information about the 112 INDIA app and its usage to the people through other means have been given special training on this app, which helps in increasing its usage by continuously giving information about this app. Is continuously trying to encourage people for.
Dial 112 service was started by Haryana Police with the aim of curbing crimes and providing immediate assistance to the common people in the shortest possible time in case of any emergency. Dial 112 services can be availed by calling 112 number and through 112 INDIA app. After installing 112 INDIA app in the mobile phone, help can be obtained in case of emergency by just pressing the button of the app.
112 INDIA app is proving to be a boon for women. To make women feel safe and to provide them a safe environment, Gurugram Police is getting 112 INDIA app downloaded in the mobile phones of women and by organizing special awareness programs among them (women/students) they are encouraging them to use 112 INDIA app. Giving complete information, they are told that any woman can install 112 INDIA application/app in her Android mobile phone from Play Store and ios mobile phone users from their Apple Store and enter her details like name, mobile number, address etc. in the app. After that, whenever police assistance is required in any unsafe situation, she can get police assistance through 112 INDIA app and at that time the victim will not need to tell her name, mobile number and address/location. The police will receive the victim's address/location, mobile number etc. through the 112 INDIA app and the victim will be able to get prompt police assistance. A feature named SHOUT has been provided in the 112 INDIA mobile app, with the help of which, in case of emergency, an alert will be sent to the people registered on the app. The special thing about this app is that if you download and install the mobile app of 112 helpline, then you can also include your family and friends in it. The user can add maximum 10 other mobile numbers in the app. The advantage of this will be that in case of emergency, the message/SMS will reach 10 other mobile numbers apart from the police, which have been added to the app by the users. This app acts as a companion for both the victim and the police and works effectively in preventing crimes.
