Gym owner stabbed to death in northeast Delhi, four held

Sumit Chaudhary (28) who runs a gym and a tour and travel business got into a heated argument with four men

New Delhi, July 25

In a bone chilling murder, a young gym owner was stabbed to death in Bhajanpura area of northeast Delhi over a suspected enmity. 

The deceased was identified as  Sumit Chaudhary, alias Prem (28) who was out on bail. Sumit ran a gym and a tour-and-travel business. 

The victim was stabbed at least 17 times and died on the spot. He had allegedly go into an argument with three to four men following which he was killed. 

The CCTV footage showed that Sumit Chaudhary can be seen standing beside a man, sitting outside a home, when a verbal spat took place between them. Following the argument, the accused, wearing a sporting cap, sneaked in from behind and stabbed the victim multiple times.

The police arrested four people, including two women for the murder.
