Manager of a multinational company in Gurugram missing, his car found abandoned in Dwarka

New Delhi, May 13
A manager at a multinational company in Gurugram has been reportedly missing after he left his home on May 11. The police found his unlocked car abandoned near a canal in Dwarka’s Kakrola.
The police have identified him as Ajay Srivastava (42).
Describing the missing person, police said that Ajay is 5 feet 7 inches tall, fair-complexioned with a round face and medium build. He was last seen wearing a green full-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black sports shoes.
The police traced the car’s registration number and contacted its owner, Ram Naresh Srivastava — Ajay’s father who lives in Najafgarh.
The Dwarka North police station received a PCR call alerting them about an unattended white Santro car parked near the Kakrola canal. The police got into action and initiated a search.
DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh stated that the canal was checked with a forklift and an earthmover. The police sought the fire department officials and divers from the Rescue Boat Club to search in waters.
His family told police that from sometime he had been working from home. Ajay did not have problems with his family members. The family did not raise any allegations or suspicions, police informed.
DCP Singh added that there were no signs of a struggle or any suspicious material inside the vehicle.
The police have filed a missing persons report.
The police stated that Ajay’s friends and co-workers are being questioned. The call detail records of Ajay, his family, and relatives are also being analysed.
