Marathi actress knocked down by a speeding vehicle near Kolhapur

New Delhi, November 14

Marathi television actress Kalyani Kurale Jadhav was killed in a road accident near Kolhapur city on the Sangli-Kolhapur Road.

The police stated that the accident took place around 11 pm at Halondi village near Kolhapur city. 

Kalyani (32) had recently started a restaurant 'Premachi Bhakri Lai Bhari' at Halondi. Jadhav was riding home after closing the restaurant for the day when the accident took place. Her two-wheeler was knocked down by a tractor. 

The police have arrested the driver and booked him for rash driving and other charges under the IPC.
