Mumbai police arrests a UP doctor for tresspassing and posing as journalist in HM Amit Shah's presser

The accused, Shakti Prasad Bhargav was found giving pamphlets on alleged irregularities in Kanpur’s Lal Imli Mill

New Delhi, November 13

The Mumbai police have arrested doctor belonging to Kanpur, UP, for allegedly posing as a journalist to attend a press conference held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bandra-Kurla Complex and protesting against him. 

The police identified him Shakti Prakash Bhargav (53) who made a fake identity card of a journalist from a Hindi newspaper. 

The police immediately arrested him and found giving pamphlets on alleged irregularities in Kanpur’s Lal Imli Mill. 

The police said that the doctor had come to Mumbai a few days ago. Police are checking as to how he managed to make a fake ID of a journalist. The doctor is also accused of throwing footwear at a BJP leader during a press conference in 2019 in Delhi.

The police have charged for trespassing and forgery.
