NCB "witness" Kiran Gosavi arrested for cheating, fraud case of Palghar in Maharashtra

New Delhi, December 3

The alleged fraudster, private detective and NCB “witness’ Kiran Gosavi who was earlier held in Cordelia drugs seizure case, in which Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested has been arrested in another case of fraud by Maharashtra Police.

Gosavi allegedly duped two persons of Rs 1.65 lakh by promising them a job in Malaysia and leaving them stranded at a Kerala airport. Gosavi was arrested from Kelva in Palghar district in the duping case. 

Pune Crime Branch had arrested Gosavi after he was on the run. 

The Kelva police lodged an FIR against Gosavi on October 17 this year for cheating, criminal breach of trust and forgery on a complaint by Utkarsh Tare and Adarsh Keni.

As per the case details, the complainants had seen an advertisement given by Gosavi on Facebook for job openings abroad. They contacted Gosavi on the number given in the advertisement and he promised them a job in Malaysia and made them go to a Kerala airport in 2018. However, the authorities at the airport did not allow them to enter as they were carrying fake tickets. Since then the two have been calling Gosavi to return their money but he broke all communication with them.

Gosavi had grabbed headlines when he had clicked a selfie with Aryan Khan after the latter’s arrest in Cordelia dugs seizure case. After his selfie with Aryna got famous, the police found out that he claimed to be a private detective but was wanted tin cheating adnf raud cases in Maharashtra.
