Nine youngsters bag jobs in private firms in a job fair of Delhi Police


New Delhi, March 6

The Delhi Police New Delhi District organized a job fair to rehabilitate youth who have been in conflict with law earlier in an effort to rehabilitate them. Nine youth were offered jobs in private companies that turned up to offer jobs to youngsters. 

DCP (New Delhi) Eish Singhal stated that the police officials co ordinated and liasoned with  private firms and companies working in the jurisdiction of sub-division Barakhamba Road who were looking for recruitments 

The officials said five companies and firms like My Money Mantra, Pind Balluchi, Local Bar and Connaught Cafe etc showed acceptance to employ the youth. 

The unemployed youth of Janta Camp, Bhairon Mandir were invited to attend this program. 13 person in the age group of 18 to 21 years turned up in this program out of which nine were offered jobs in various companies such as housekeeping, peon, food service provider etc.

The officials added that one of the recruiters who was previously involved in two criminal cases was re-established through an appointment at a regular job, so that he could be brought into the main-stream of society and also aide his family through earning by legal means.
