Rajasthan magistrate accused of asking rape victim to undress booked

New Delhi, April 5
The Rajasthan Police has booked the magistrate who asked the rape victim to undress.
The police stated that the woman went to the magistrate’s office to record her statement in connection with the rape case. After her statement was recorded and she was leaving the office, the magistrate allegedly called her back.
According to the girl's compliant, the magistrate asked her to remove her clothes to see bruises. The victim refused and also stared that she could have still shown it to a woman magistrate but not him. He then asked her not to inform anyone about the incident.
The police have lodged an FIR without naming the judge.
The girl will also record her statement in front of a magistrate, police added.
