Daryaganj Inspector Sanjay Kumar said, "I have been reading books published by Rajkamal Prakashan since my student days. I have an emotional connect with them. Books are life lessons . Whenever you are in a situation in your life sometimes just a line or a quote from a book can guide you. If you read a book you will definitely find a solution".

Talking about Additional DG Ashok Kumar's book 'Khakhi mein insaan" Inspector Kumar said, "I have worked with Ashok Sir and he has described some important incidents that take place in a policeman's life from the beginning of the day to the end. If I ask my staff to read four sections of Indian Penal Code everyday, they will find excuses to read but if I just hand over the book to them, they will read".

Kumar added that the purpose of handing over books to the children is to tell them that a friend that they are searching for in wrong circles and atmosphere is right with them in these books. They don't need to stray, he stated.

Inspector Rajkumar from Daryaganj police station said, "When we were students we rented comics to read. These days children don't even want to hold a book in their hand. We all get attached to one book in our life or one book inspires us and keep playing in our head till we die, find that book and read. That's your guide"

A young writer Sumer Singh Rathore from Rajasthan was felicitated for his work and continuous effort even during the pandemic time to keep writing.

Ashok Maheshwari, Managing Director of Rajkamal Prakashan said, "The kids are our future and the kids from rehabilitation centres, children homes and slums need to brighten their life with education. Handing a book in their hand will change their thinking and they will get inspiration to become someone in life".

The free books and study materials will be distributed among kids across the city at children homes, rehabilitation centres and study circles.
