Teen boy in Bihar tied, beaten up for plucking neighbour's plant

In a tragic incident, a 14-year-old boy was tied to a pole and his legs were chained before being beaten up by a woman and her children for plucking a plant in Begusarai district.

 

A video of the incident has surfaced ok social media showing the minor unconscious with chains on his feet, while his family members are weeping at the scene surrounded by a crowd.

 

After the video came to light, Begusarai SP Maneesh took action, ordering an investigation.

 

The woman accused was identified as Sumitra Devi, and her children who i on the run. 

 

As per the case details, Dilkhush Kumar (14) was plucking a plant belonging to his neighbour, Sumitra Devi. In retaliation, Sumitra, along with her son and daughters, chained Dilkhush's legs, tied him to a pole, and began beating him.

 

Thr boy's family rushed to the scene and managed to free him. Injured Dilkhush was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment, where his condition is sensitive. 

 

The police are hunting for the accused.
