Teen member of dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi-Sampat Nehra gang wanted for firing on property dealer held by Delhi Crime Branch

New Delhi, December 6

The Delhi Crime Branch held a young member Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra gang who was wanted in a firing incident in Delhi’s Narela area. 

The accused has been identified as Naveen Sindhu (19). Sindhu was allegedly involved in a firing incident on November 17 at the office of a property dealer in the Narela area in a bid to extort Rs 1 crore from him.

According to the crime branch, the firing incident took place around 11 am when the complainant was going to his office. A note demanding Rs 1 crore was recovered from the spot, allegedly thrown by the shooters. 

A complaint was filed by the victim stating that on November 17 around 12.15 am, his employee received an audio clip where the caller introduced himself as a member of Sampat Nehra’s gang and demanded Rs 1 crore. 

The crime branch stated that on the fateful day, Sindhu met his associate Shubham at Sonipat in Haryana who was carrying a pistol. He received a WhatsApp call from Rohit, who directed them to give “one chance” to the victim to fulfil their demand of Rs 1 crore. Around 11 am, he, along with Shubham, reached in front of the property dealer’s office in Narela. Shubham opened two fires and dropped the demand note. 

The crime branch grabbed the CCTV footage and traced the accused. The accused were identified. Technical surveillance was mounted on them and the accused were traced. 

The police suspect that Sindhu is involved in more cases of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the city.
