The teens were held in Trichy of Tamil Naud for allegedly posting a death threat on Instagram against a Superintendent of Police Varun Kumar.

Last week, an Instagram post showing a picture of SP Varun Kumar with the caption “several heads will be blown by Komban Brothers” went viral.
After the post, the police had formed special teams to trace the senders. The prove landed them to three three teenagers behind the post-- aged 16, 17, and 18.
The police then booked them assertions prejudicial to national integration (IPC 153-B), statements conducive to public mischief (IPC 505-2), and Section 66 of the IT Act.
Another 17-year-old boy, who is also allegedly involved in the Instagram threat, is absconding, and the police are on his lookout.
SP Varun Kumar's wife Vandita Pandey is also an IPS officer in Tamil Nadu cadre.
