Three alleged Maoists surrendered themselves at Malkangiri in front of Odisha police SP and BSF Malkangiri.
The trio identified as Mainu alias Sambhu Dodi (25), Rame Apka (25) and Raghu Khara (21) from Bijapur and Malkangiri respectively.
The Odisha Police Malkangiri Headquarters stated that the accused belong to AOBSZC, CPI (Maoist) Party in Malkangiri. The accused were carrying a cash reward on their names announced by Government of Odisha.
Explaining about the association of accused with the CPI Maoist party, Odisha officials stated, Mainu Sambhu Dodi was working as area committee member of AOBSZC (Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee) military platoon.
Dodi joined the banned CPI (Maoist) party in 2009 as Swadesh Committee Member of Jagurkonda AC. In 2010, he joined Narayan Patna AC as platoon member, officials said.
He was carrying a cash reward of Rs. Four lakhs.

Raghu however joined the banned CPI (Maoist) party in Gumma AC in September 2017. He was presently working as party member of Gumma AC under AOBSZC military platoon and was carrying cash reward of Rs. one lakh.
