Actor Salman Khan receives new threat through Mumbai traffic police number to send Rs. 5 crores

If he wanted to “stay alive and end the enmity with (gangster) Lawrence Bishnoi then he should pay Rs. 5 crores and if the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique

New Delhi, October 18

Bollywood Salman Khan has reportedly received a new threat via a message sent to the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai traffic police where the sender demanded Rs 5 crores from the actor.

The Mumbai traffic police received the threat directed at Khan. A senior traffic official confirmed that a complaint has been filed with the Worli police.

The Mumbai Police has called the message a ‘hoax’ and investigating further on the sender.

The purported message read, “If he wanted to “stay alive and end the enmity with (gangster) Lawrence Bishnoi then he should pay rs. 5 crores and if the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique".

Siddique, former MLA from Maharashtra and a noted NCP leader was shot dead by three assailants last week outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra. The Crime Branch has arrested four men, including two shooters, in the case.

In 2022, Salman Khan had received a threatening note on a bench near his residence in Bandra. In 2023, he had received a threat mail, and in April this year, two shooters had allegedly fired shots outside his house.

The Navi Mumbai police also registered a case in April against 18 people, including Lawrence and Anmol Bishnoi, for plotting to kill Khan.
