BSF Wives Welfare Association celebrated its 32nd BWWA Day

165 Veeranganas were honoured, paying heartfelt tribute to their invaluable contributions and commitment to the force and the nation.

 New Delhi, September 21

The BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) celebrated its 32nd BWWA Day at the Ashwini BSF Officers' Institute in New Delhi. 

Priya Garg, Senior Vice President of BWWA, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

To mark this special day, the talented members of BWWA presented a vibrant program that showcased the diverse cultures from various states of our great nation. In her address to the BWWA family, Priya Garg praised the collective efforts and dedication towards achieving BWWA's noble objectives and acknowledged the remarkable impact these initiatives have on the lives and welfare of the entire Prahari Pariwar, encouraging continued endeavours for the cause.

During the event, the BWWA governing body honored 165 Veeranganas, paying heartfelt tribute to their invaluable contributions and commitment to the force and the nation. Additionally, two wheelchairs were presented to the parents of two differently-abled children from the Prahari Pariwar, highlighting BWWA's ongoing commitment to its members' welfare.

An E-version of the 22nd issue of the Prahari Sangini Magazine was also released, featuring the various welfare programs from August 2023 to August 2024 conducted by BWWA at BSF locations across India .

After the formal program, senior members interacted informally with the Veeranganas and their families, listening to their concerns and issues and assured them of full support and redressal of their grievances. The Veeranganas were also felicitated with gifts, and the BWWA family shared a joyful 'Bada Khana' together as part of the community kitchen initiative.

The function concluded on a high note, with every member rededicating themselves to the noble mission of strengthening BWWA and its objectives.
