CBI arrests a sanitary inspector of MCD Najafagarh in bribery case
Thr accused demanded bribe of Rs. 6,000 from the complainant for de-sealing his meat shop : CBI
New Delhi, January 22
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today apprehended a Sanitary Inspector (holding additional charge of Veterinary Inspector) of MCD, Najafgarh Zone, New Delhi for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.6,000/- from the complainant.
CBI registered a case on the basis of complaint against said accused on allegations that accused demanded bribe of Rs. 6,000 from the complainant for de-sealing his meat shop.
The agency then laid a trap and caught accused red handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 6,000/- from the complainant.
The CBI also conducted searches at residential and official premises of accused.
