Sharing the video, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh targeted the Bhajanlal Sharma-led BJP government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Dalits are being tortured wherever the BJP is in power.

"The truth of the double-engine government of Modi–Bhajanlal. The BJP wants 400 seats to end reservations of Dalits, to beat them, and murder them. There is torture on Dalits wherever the BJP is there. This heart-wrenching case is from Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu. See how mercilessly a Dalit youth, Rameshwar Valmiki was brutally beaten to death," he wrote.

Former Chief Minister and Congress leader alleged, “Such incidents are coming to light from all over the state every day,” and that “crimes against Dalits increased” under the BJP.
