Delhi man abducted and assaulted by employer, colleagues for three days

The victim and accused got into a fight over a conversation while drinking alcohol and angry accused held him captive and assaulted him for three days

New Delhi, May 16

A young man was abducted and assaulted for three days by three men, including his employer, inside a tent house shop in Moti Nagar area of Delhi. 

The three accused were identified as Surender, 54, Sonu, 33, and Manish, 28, who have been arrested.

The police received a PCR call at the Moti Nagar Police Station on May 14 from the complainant saying his brother had been abducted and was beaten continuously for three days.

Vichitra Veer, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) stated that the victim was confined and tied up inside the shop for three days. On May 11 at the Super Centre Market in Karampura in Moti Nagar, a quarrel started when the accused persons and the victim were drinking alcohol together. They suddenly began quarrelling. The accused beat up the victim and wrongfully confined him for three days. 

The victim approached the police after the accused released him after three days on May 14. He had suffered fractures on his hands and legs.

The police have lodged under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section pertaining to assault.
