Delhi Police arrest four who stabbed father-son duo to death in Malviya Nagar

New Delhi, March 13

The Delhi Police arrested four men in connection murder of father-son duo who were stabbed to death by a group of men in Malviya Nagar. 

The police stared that the murder was a fallout of a banter where the the father had slapped one of the accused a few days ago. 

The accused have been identified as Johny, 27, who works with a broadband service company; Gopal, 34; Bharat, 35, an electrician; and Khushwant, 21, a delivery boy in a food delivery company.

As per the case details, the victims Jai Bhagwan, 55, and his son Saurabh, 22, were attacked and killed at Malviya Nagar’s Prajapati Colony. 

The accused first waylaid them chased, and then attacked with knives. Both sides got into argument that got abusive and accused took out knives and stabbed the duo multiple times. 

a asserby made the PCR call and police reached the spot, after which they were taken to a hospital, where they were declared dead.

The police stated that a few days ago, Jai Bhagwan had a verbal spat with the accused while they were celebrating one of the co-accused’s birthday inside a park, following which Jai Bhagwan slapped one of them. The accused wanted revenge. 

The police added that Jai Bhagwan also had a criminal record with murder and attempt to murder cases.
