Delhi Police arrests five wanted robbers in an encounter in Outer district

The robbers along with three accomplices were hiding on the third floor of the four-storey building at Rani Bagh : Police

New Delhi, February 5

The Delhi Police arrested five people wanted for a robbery following an encounter in the capital’s Bhalswa Dairy area. 

The accused were wanted in a robbery at a hardware shop in Rani Bagh where they had attacked the owner and stole Rs 85,000 on January 30.

The police said the robbers along with three accomplices were hiding on the third floor of the four-storey building at Rani Bagh. 

The police informed that the suspects opened fire on the police party, firing multiple rounds in order to evade. The police fired back in self-defence. The accused even got into a scuffle before they were eventually held.
