Delhi Police ensure watertight security at the EVMs, over 300 CCTVs at work

The Delhi Police has made elaborate security arrangements to guard 19 strongrooms containing EVMs and VVPATs, with voters.
The police have set up a dedicated team of personnel led by an additional DCP-level officer for each strongroom across 11 districts in the city. The strongrooms have three layers of security with two companies of paramilitary personnel inside and a layer of Delhi Police personnel outside, deployed round the clock.
Over 350 CCTV cameras have been installed at the centres.The EVMs and VVPATs will be kept in a double lock system under the watch of the CCTV cameras.
