Delhi Police held two who were out to commit murder and gangwar

New Delhi, July 12

The special task force of Delhi Police North District held two for out to avenge murder of their ganglord.

The accused were identified as Ankit Shulkla alias Sanju from UP and one Prince from Delhi. 

The police stated that the accused were planning to take revenge of the murder of their mentor, a gangster, Suresh Kumar alias Banwari who was murdered in DDA Park, Azadpur, Delhi and were found to be carrying sophisticated arms and ammunitions.

The police raided at Burari where the accused were held. 

The police seized two sophisticated pistols (made in Italy) and four live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

According to the police, both the accused Ankit Shukla and Prince disclosed that they were planning to take revenge of murder of  Suresh Kuma who was murdered by Vicky and Raja along with their accomplices in DDA Park, Azadpur, Delhi. Raja was arrested and is presently in judicial custody, while Vicky is still absconding. 

The officials added that the accused Ankit Shukla used to work as an assistant with Suresh at his Gambling den. 

Suresh has provided him these arms before his murder.  Ankit was planning to start his own gang and was recruiting criminals, like he has recruited Prince in his gang. His main motive was to take revenge by eliminating Vicky and Raja, who murdered his mentor.
