New Delhi, April 13
The Delhi Police New Delhi District arrested two who were declared proclaimed offenders.
The accused were identified as Aman Kumar (30) from Krishna Colony in Uttam Nagar, Delhi and Rakesh Nodiyal (30) from Mundkain a cse of 2014 where the duo were booked under Section 379, 411 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code at Sagarpur police station.
DCP (New Delhi), Eish Singhal stated that the duo were declared as proclaimed offenders in July 2015 by the Patiala House Court in New Delhi.
The officials added that the complainant ShankyAggarwal had alleged that his motorcycle bearing registration no: DL 9SR 1914 had been stolen from his house. Both the above accused were arrested in the said case. During trial, both the accused failed to face the trial and were declared as proclaimed offenders.
A police team that was working to nab procliamed offenders in the city received information on the location of the duo. On the basis of same, a trap was laid and the accused were arrested from Arya Samaj Mandir at Mandir Marg. They were later produced before the Patiala House Court.
The accused were found previously involved in four similar cases of Sagarpur.
