Delhi Police Rohini District held four who allegedly aided wrestler Sushil Kumar in Sagar Dhankar murder case

Delhi Police Rohini District held four from Kala Asuada-Neeraj Bawana gang in Sagar Dhankar murder case. 

DCP Rohini, R Sathiyasundaram stated that the arrested accused are four active members of Kala Asauda – Neeraj Bawana Gang from Kanjhawala area. All were found to be the associates of Sushil Pahalwan in Sagar murder case at Chhatrasal stadium. They revealed the entire conspiracy and sequence of events of the murder of Sagar.

Elaborating more on the four, the police said, Bhupender alias Bhupi Raj Kumar from Jhajjar in Haryana, Mohit Subhash, Gulab alias Pahlwan from Jhajjar and Manjeet alias Chunnil Lal Rihtash from Rohtak in Haryana. 

According to police, Model Town police station had received a call regarding firing inside Chhatrasal Stadium. Thereafter the police reached at Chhatrasal Stadium and found five cars including Alto, Honda city, Fortuner, Scorpio and Brezza. One loaded double barrel gun and three rounds were found inside Scorpio Car and two Dandas in parking area. Injured persons were sent to Hospital and MLCs were collected by the police and all cars including double barrel gun were seized at the spot. During spot enquiry it was found that Sushil Kumar and his associates had beaten the injured persons. 

The police had registered a case under 308, 325, 323, 41, 506, 188, 268 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act at Model Town police station. 

The investigation of the case was later transferred to  Delhi Crime Branch.  Sushil Pahalwan along with Ajay have been arrested and they are on police remand with crime branch. 

The Rohini District Delhi had received information that four persons of Kala Asauda Gang – Neeraj Bawana Gang involved in Murder of Sagar Pahalwan at Chhatrasal Stadium in the intervening night of May4 are coming to Village Ghewra to meet their associate Kala Satte. The police laid a trap near Ghewra railway crossing. The police team apprehended all the four persons after their identification through secret informer.

The police stated that all the four accused persons have disclosed that on the night of the incident, they had gone to Chhatrasal stadium. They reached the stadium at around 12 am in two vehicles, a scorpio car and a Breeza car. Thereafter actively involved themselves in the crime. They have narrated the sequence of events and details of other persons involved in the crime. On hearing police siren, they could not escape with their vehicles but left both above mentioned cars and their weapons at the spot. 

The police are further investigating the case. 

Bhupender came in contact with a gangster Rajeev alias Kala of his village Asauda. The gangsters committed a robbery in year 2000 and, he was also arrested in the said case with charge of harbouring the gangsters. Thereafter, he became close associate of Rajeev and committed a number of robberies and murders with the gangsters till 2011. In 2011, he went to jail in a double murder case and remained in jail till Feb 2021. In year 2020, his gang leader Rajeev was murdered by members of rival gang in court premises in Rohtak Haryana. Now, after his release he was reviving his gang to take revenge of his gang leader. He is previously involved in nine cases. 

Mohit's brother Rohit was close associate of gangster Rajeev and presently lodged in jail. In year 2016, the rival gangsters involved him in conspiracy of attempt to murder of one Suresh of Village Asauda. Further in year 2019, he was again involved in conspiracy to murder of rival gang. He was release on bail in May 2020 and join Bhupender to revive the gang. He is previously involved in 5 cases.

Gulab joined Rajeev in Kala Asauda Gang. In year 2018, he involved himself in an attempt to murder case and lator in year 2019, he was arrested with an illegal fire arm. In year 2020, the rival gang members targeted him, wherein his friend Ravinder was killed and he sustained bullet injury. Since then, he left his home and spent his time with members of Kala Asauda gang to take revenge. He is previously involved in two cases.

Manjeet involved himself in supplying illegal fire arms. In year 2011, he was arrested after a brief encounter and 32 illegal fire arms (7 pistols & 25 country made pistols). In jail he came in contact with Rajeev @ Kala Asauda and thereafter, supplied weapons to his gang members. He was arrested many a times with associates of Rajeev in various cases. Now he joined Bhupender to strengthen Kala Asauda Gang. He is previously involved in four cases.

The accused were wanted in over 15 cases registered in Haryana.
