Delhi Police Special Cell arrested a wanted criminal, absconder since two years

The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested arrested a wanted criminal from Sangan Vihar.
The accused was identified as Dinesh alias Johny Mahinder Kumar from Karol Bagh in Delhi.
The officials stated that he was wanted in a case of murder that took place in the area of Karol Bagh in Delhi in the year 2019. He has been on the run for the last two years in this case. A reward of Rs. 25,000/- was declared by Delhi Police.
As per the case details, lltwo bike-borne persons came and fired at a shop situated at Gali No. 56, Rehgarpura, Karol Bagh Delhi. A customer namely Bharat sitting in shop had got two gun shot injuries. During the treatment in hospital, Bharat succumbed to his injuries. In this case, four accused persons namely Dev Arjun, Aakash Kumar, Aakash and Mahesh were arrested by local police but Dinesh has been absconding since then.
The special cell stated that Dinesh alongwith his four associates namely Mahesh Kumar, Dev Arjun, Aakash Kumar and Aakash had threatened a shopkeeper of Gali No. 56, Rehgarpura, Delhi for extorting money in the year 2019. When the shopkeeper refused to pay they hatched a conspiracy. Upon the directions of Mahesh Kumar, who was then lodged in Delhi jail, Dinesh had arranged arms & ammunitions to execute their plan. As per plan, Aakash and Aakash had fired shots at the said shop. The shop owner escaped unhurt, but Bharat received two bullet injuries and later on, he died in the hospital.
He was also declared a Proclaimed Offender by the court on 07.12.2019. Apart from this case, Dinesh has also been found convicted for seven years in a case of armed robbery of year 2005 in the area of Parsad Nagar. After completing the said sentence in this case, he came out from jail in the year 2011.
