Deputy Commisioner GST jumps from 15th floor of his buiding in Noida
57-year-old officer was suffering from cancer : Noida Police
New Delhi, March 12
A deputy commissioner in the Goods and Service Tax (GST) department died allegedly by suicide, after he jumped from the 15th floor of a housing society in Noida’s Sector 75.
The Noida Police stated that the deceased suffered from cancer. Th 57-year-old officer lived with his family. The incident occurred at 10.45 am on March 10.
Following this, the residents informed the security guard and his family members. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. He had injuries on his head and other parts of the body
The family members of the deceased have not yet lodged a complaint. We will take action after receiving the complaint, police added.
