DPS student found dead at a society in Gurugram where he went to meet a friend

New Delhi, October 31
An 18-year-old student of Delhi Public School Gurugram fell to his death from the eighth floor of a society in Sector 45.
A complaint was lodged by the boy’s father who stated that his son went to meet a friend and was later found dead.
The victim was found lying in a pool of blood and was rushed to a private hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. After the family has alleged foul play, the police have registered a case of murder against unknown person.
The police sent forensic and fingerprint teams, as well as a dog squad, to collect samples from the spot. The police are also analyzing the victim’s phone to get more details.
The family alleged that the boy’s slippers were found on the eighth floor and they suspect someone pushed and killed him.
As per the case details so far, tThe victim first went to the friend’s house, where the guard connected him via intercom… and his friend’s family told him he was asleep. Around 15 minutes later, at 12.53 pm, he again went to the friend’s house on the fourth floor. His friend told us they had a brief conversation, of two-three minutes, during which he told him he did not have the said book.
The friend told police that he went back to his house, and he saw the victim take the lift.
However, the reasons and situation how the boy later reached the eight floor are not clear. His friend and he had studied in the same school earlier and claimed to have not spoken to each other since July, added police.
The police are investigating the case as murder looking into all possibilities in the case.
