Firing at wine shop in Manesar kills one customer, two injured; gangster Lipin Nehra aide arrested

New Delhi, June 20

Two men opened fire at a liquor shop at Panchgaon in Manesar on alleged instuctiosn from gangster Godly Brar, aide Lipin Nehra of Canada. 

The police stated that the two accused opened fire at Discovery Wine shop near Panchgaon Chowk on June 16, killing a customer and injuring two. The accused had come on a motorcycle. Rohit parked the motorcycle and his two accomplices went to the wine shop and fired 19 rounds before leaving.

The wine shop owner was being issued threats from the accused to rename the shop on their name of face consequences. The owner had received threats calls after the firing incident too. 

The police arrested the accused, Rohit Gadaria (21), a Ghaziabad resident, from Daboda village on Farukhnagar-Helimandi road. He and two of his companions, working for gangster Lipin Nehra. 

The investigators found out that Nehra had allegedly asked the complainant to get the Discovery Wine Shop named after his father Dayaram Nehra, but to no avail. In a bid to exert pressure and establish his supremacy in the business in the region, Lipin allegedly sent his men to carry out the shooting.

According to the police, the accused have carried out similar firing in Faridabad, Rewari and Pataudi.

DCP (Crime) Vijay Pratap stated that the attack was planned from Canada by Lipin Nehra, who is a close aide of dreaded gangster Goldy Brar. He also provided men in connection with the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. 

During interrogation of the accused who have no past records claimed they were freshly hired. confessed to the crime. Rohit had been staying at a room in IMT Manesar to evade police before leaving for Rewari’s Kosli and then trying to flee to UP in a bus but got caught.
