Group of farmers, Nihang Sikhs visited Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in police arranged vehicles, escort

A group of farmers, including Nihang Sikhs were facilitated with transport by Delhi Police who wanted to visit the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.
The police said the group included around 60 to 70 persons both farmers and Nihang Sikhs who had crossed the Singhu border and informed they wanted to visit the holy site.
The police added that the group included men, women, and children on their tractors and trolleys, and they were trying to move barricades.
The Outer North district police made arrangements and escorted the visitors to the Gurudwara.
According to the police, they were not informed about the visit but the the group gathered near the barricades and demanded entry into the city to offer prayers as the Bill to repeal the three farm laws was passed in Parliament.
The group was initially stopped near Mukarba Chowk however, the police arranged buses for them later.
DCP (Outernorth) Brijendra Kumar Yadav stated that the police weren’t informed beforehand about their wish to visit the gurdwara. It was only when the group came near barricades they learnt about their reason for gathering at the borders. However, the within a few minutes the group was taken to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara without any skirmishes.
According to police, the group wanted to travel in their tractors and trolleys however for security reasons, they were asked to step into the buses provided by police after removing the barricades.
The farmer groups however claimed that the police weren’t ready to let them in and after several talks they decided to allow them for the holy place.
