gurugram call centre employee dies in road accident, robbers who try to flee with his bike meet with accident

New Delhi, January 16

A call centre employee in Gurgaon died on his way home after his motorcycle skidded off the road early on while three men who fled with his vehicle met with an accident a moments later.

The deceased was identified as Vikas, slipped with his vehicle on MG Road around 3 am and was grievously injured on the head. The accused were identified as Uday Kumar, Tinku and Parambir. 

The accused reached near the accident spot and while ignoring the dying man fled with his bike. However, the motorbike bike skid again and after a few metres skidded off MB Road leaving the three thieves injured.

The police received two PCR calls were received, one from MG Road and one from MB Road. On reaching MG Road, Vikas was found dead. The other three were found injured on MB Road and they were admitted to AIIMS trauma center.

The police said the CCTV footage revealed the whole sequence of events and trio have been booked for attempting to rob.
