Man hit by a speeding BMW car in Mumbai, dies

The accused was identified as Kiran Indulkar who fled the spot however subsequently arrested by police

New Delhi, July 29

In yet another hit-and-run case in Mumbai, one person died after he was hit by a speeding BMW car. This was the third hit-and-run case in Mumbai in a month.

The police stated that the incident happened on July 20 in the Worli area of the city. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Vinod Laad, who was returning home from home when his two-wheeler was hit by a car from behind.

The accused was identified as Kiran Indulkar who fled the spot however subsequently arrested by police. 

Vinod was rushed to a hospital by some locals. However, he succumbed to his injuries after a week.

On July 7, a woman died and her husband was injured in Worli when Mihir Shah, son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah, rammed their scooter with his speeding BMW. 

Later, on July 22, a speeding Audi car hit two auto-rickshaws in Mumbai, leaving the drivers of both the auto-rickshaws and two passengers injured.
