Minor girl's body found in mutilated condition with eyes missing in Lakhimpur Kheri of UP
The girl had gone missing for two days after going to school; family alleges police inaction

The mutilated body of a 13-year-old girl was found in a sugarcane field at a village in Lakhimpur Kheri district of UP.
As per the details, the girl went missing while returning from school. Her parents informed the police that she did not return till late at night, but the police did not register their complaint then. The villagers found the mutilated body of the girl and informed police.
The police then reached the spot, recovered the body that was found with her eyes missing and injury marks on her body. Her body was sent it for a postmortem examination.
The police have formed three investigation teams to trace the accused who are yet unknown.
The victim’s mother claimed that police inaction led to her death. She said that had the police registered her complaint on time, they could have saved the girl, who was missing for two days however haven't names any suspects.
